Artist Statement

my current work is a representation of the integration of the many parts of myself.the unhealed, the healed, child, maiden, mother, crone, the sovereign.

i like to work small, taking the expansive views of these blue ridge and smoky mountains and bringing them home, to be explored and held. the women inspired by vintage photographs, intimate and precious. visions brought forth from deep therapy, wild and  untamed, become tight and rigid, contained by the edges of the page.
